Method 1: Check via Absher (The Official Way)
This is the most accurate method.
- Login: Go to the Absher app or website.
- Dashboard: Click on your profile picture and select “My Dashboard”.
- View Details: Under “Personal Information”, you will see your Iqama Expiry Date clearly in Hijri and Gregorian dates.
Method 2: Check via MOL (Ministry of Labor)
If you don’t have an Absher account, use the MOL website. This also shows your “Red/Green” status (Nitaqat).
- Go to: MHRSD (Ministry of Human Resources) website.
- Select: “Query for Expat Employee”.
- Enter: Your Iqama Number.
- Result: It will show if your Iqama is “Valid” or “Expired” and your company’s color status (Green = Safe, Red = Danger).

How to Check if Iqama Fees are Paid?
Your sponsor might say “I paid the fee,” but is he lying? Check it yourself.
- Go to: Your Bank App (Al Rajhi / SNB).
- Select: “Payments” > “Government Payments”.
- Choose: “Alien Control” > “Renew Iqama”.
- Enter: Your Iqama ID.
- Result: If it shows “0 SAR due,” the fee is paid. If it shows “9,600 SAR” (or similar), the fee is NOT paid yet.
What Do the Colors Mean? (Nitaqat)
- Platinum/Green: Your company is strong. Your Iqama renewal is safe.
- Yellow: Warning zone. Renewals might be delayed.
- Red: Danger zone. Your company cannot renew Iqamas. You have the legal right to transfer to another company immediately.
